The Oranges & Lemons Story

When I moved back to India from Canada, I brought home a new perspective on what a nursery could be. Living abroad, I had become accustomed to certain standards of eco-conscious quality; back home, I found myself searching for that same level of purity for my own child.

As a commercial artist from Sir J.J. School of Art, I viewed the nursery as a space where art and safety must coexist. After the birth of my son, Kian, I searched for decor that was truly sustainable and designs that moved away from 'typical' baby clichés. I wanted items that were gentle enough for a newborn’s skin but sophisticated enough for a modern home. When I couldn’t find them, I decided to create them.

Oranges and Lemons was born from that search. As a mother and an entrepreneur, I know that every choice we make for our children matters. That’s why we use only the finest materials, ethically sources - combining international quality standards with the soul of Indian craftsmanship
